Naloxone is known as an “overdose antidote.” In Northern California, opioid safety community coalitions have worked to increase access to this lifesaving medication. In this breakout session at the CHCF-supported Opioid Safety Convening in Oakland, members of the Santa Clara and Placer/Nevada Counties coalitions discuss succesful strategies to increase access to the drug.
