Medication Assisted Treatment Access Points, Tribal MAT Infrastructure Support (Sierra Health Foundation) Applications due August 26, 2019
Through this Medication Assisted Treatment Access Points (MAT Access Points) funding opportunity, The Center will provide funding and technical assistance support for implementing California’s MAT Access Points project to Urban Indian and Tribal health providers/health care organizations/entities. Access Points must use this funding to build new MAT services, or expand existing MAT services, with the goal of increasing the number of patients with substance use disorders treated with medications, behavioral health and other recovery services.
Community Opioid Response and Evaluation (CORE) project (PEW Charitable Trusts) Applications due August 30, 2019
Localities have implemented a range of initiatives to tackle this serious public health problem, but most lack solid evidence about how effective they are. Through granted funds and technical assistance, the CORE project, supported by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, will help communities evaluate local initiatives, disseminate the findings, and advance the adoption of innovative models into other areas.
